There has been almost ZERO activity here at CinemaSound and I guess that is because I haven't promoted it properly, haven't invited enough "friends" or whatever. hi all,

i just found this network through sync.sound.cinema and i have a seedling as my picture because i am new in the world of sound for film.

i wanted to introduce myself and wish this site great success, and also ask a question to all members: can you suggest to me or cull from your personal experience, ways of practicing techniques that you have found to be important on location that i could adapt for myself?

continuing to explore the social network site possibilities

I am continuing to explore this Internet phenomenon of the so-called "social network." Everyone has a MySpace presence and so on but none of that ever appealed to me. I also hate the use of the word "My" almost as much as I hate the ubiquitous use of the letter "i" in front of everything. This site, hosted by Ning, is not tainted with any of that nonsense. We'll see how it goes and whether I can really put the time in here to make it work. - Jeff Wexler

I really like the way this Social Network functions. I have helped Don set up a MonaVie group and it is there that I have discovered all the neat things you can do with this.

I am thinking of inviting people from my Discussion Group to this group, just to see if anyone prefers this sort of thing to the forum they have been participating in. I don't really know if this is a better way to go --- I would really have to get people in here to see if this works or not.
