dedicated to those who do sound for image

Hi All

I need to borrow your ear (eye) for a moment!

I'm in the process of re-writing the Deva/Fusion User Manual. I need someone to help me rewrite the Effects Chapter that will be used in both User Manuals. I am by NO means an authority on the subject.

I am looking for someone that is knowledgable in using Zaxcom's implementation of Equalization and Compression that could describe their theory about using them.

What the chapter needs to do:

* provide inexperienced individuals with the information to intelligently experiment with the
technology before bringing it onto the set, and
* provide experienced individuals transitioning to Zaxcom equipment with the information
necessary to get them off the starting line quickly.

I am aware of the pros and cons of using the technology on set. My goal is to provide my brothers and sisters in the industry the information to efficiently and effectively use the tools in their possession.

By this time you are probably asking yourself: "Why isn't he talking to Zaxcom's Engineers about this?"

The response is: "Their plates are full and this would take way too much time away from improving the software."

So … if this sounds like something you would consider doing, contact me through the group or if that is too public contact me directly.

Thank you for the use of your ear (eye)!

Have a GREAT DAY!!!
