Exactly that... I believe Ross. The almighty dollar.
Only 8 months back, bookings for cameras and sets from US production companies looked very healthy. Since then, our dollar has spiraled upwards and the correlation between exchange rate and produc…

Hello Bill,
Are you a distributor of Noyz Boyz, as the product 'The Snapper' looks pretty interesting. Its a method of using little clips to hide a mic in hair.

Hi Bill. Hope you are well. I'm just about to leave the country for a month or so. I suppose you have heard that Neil has left Barry's. Seriously Bill why don't you set up your own Fed Ex receive/repair/.return system for all the Lectros in Australia. Surely Lectrosonics would want their products well supported here and they must be worried that Neil has pulled up stumps.
G'day Bill, My name is Ian Thomson, I'm a boom-op-recordist-assist-guy from Brisbane; who's just finished reading your wireless articles on microphonemagic.tv
Thanks for the well thought out and clear descriptions - it was a highly insightful read.
Hello Bill, that sound like a good set up. I admire your two envoy camera links, that would be real handy. No one seems to be quite satisfied with a mono camera link anymore. I find it amazing how equipment expectations seem to have no limit, yet prices people are willing to pay for equipment seem to be going right down. I just did a short film last week, were the hand held 2040 mic would have been very useful. I think I am going to buy one in the future, but I am still a little broke. I just attached a dynamic mic to a 2040 belt pack and that did the job no problems. I am also really keen to purchase the 2040 rack as well, but alas no funds. What do they retail for, just the rack itself no TX.
Hello Bill, sound like you picked a great time to jump back into location work! Say, could you tell me where that soup kitchen is, I'm getting a little hungry myself. What did you buy for your kit?
