Bruce, I know the calls... Hate them as well. I try to preserve the Boom rate and say something like I will discount something on the 'Gear' side of the bill. Most seem afraid of that, but some bite. Gotta try.

Thanks Mike. As you know, we need to accommodate many situations in our world. Something like this wold be a help. I am cart based, so size is not the same consideration as it might be for others. If n when I get one I will post.

I read Pauls excellent piece about the helical antenna system he used, but I wish others would post about using them... I am interested in getting them if they work that well. I know you n Don use radios less than most, but I am sad to say I am us...

I am sound recordist here in Italy, i do a lot of documentary and sometimes make some movie...i also do boom swinger!!! i like this termination...now i am working as boom man on a Tv movie for italian Tv...and after this will work on a documentary about Agnelli e Fiat.
Yes my country work is Italy but i would like to travel more...
