Paul Mazursky was honored with the CAS Filmmaker Award. Dennis L. Maitland was awarded the CAS Career Achievement Award, by
Director Norman Jewison and Tod Maitland, Dennis' son.

The Sound crew of Slumdog Millionare were all there to accept the prize, Resul Kooputty from Bombai, India and Ian Tapp and Richard Pryke from England.

All in all a lot of great emotion was present last night, a fitting tribute to the only night of the year when Sound Mixers and their crews can get together and celebrate our artistry.
