Discussion Group meltdown

I was quite traumatized by the malware attack on my Discussion Group. I realize that I have a high sense of responsibility to keep the whole thing running properly. It is very disconcerting when things happen that are so far out of one's control. Fortunately, with the help of my good friend Laurence Abrams, we were able to diagnose the problem and figure out a course of action. There were so many files infected - affected that the most viable solution was the do a complete restore from a previous days backup. Lunarpagers, the web host, actually did the restore for me and it was all back to normal by Tuesday morning. The only downside was that we lost 4 days on the Group since we had to use a back up from 4 days ago.
