Mix Mag Review of the 788T

I was thumbing through this months Mix Mag and found this good review of the 788T. I recently got my hands on one of these units and really loved the look and feel. I am an avid user of the 442 and 744T and really like the direction of Sound Devices. I really wish they would come out with a 5 or 6 channel mixer with a recorder built in for those of us who do Reality TV. This would make our lives easier and harder but would give us more options.

Paul, you are so right. The 788T is an great looking and sounding machine, even better with the CL8. But there has to be a way to make a slightly larger 442 style mixer with an 8 channel recorder in it. I have a feeling there is one in the company somewhere, they are just waiting for the R&D to comeback.
